In salute of Hire the Older Worker Week, September 18 -24,  a workshop aimed specifically at resources available for job seekers age 50 and over is available. The workshop will also provide tips on how to sell oneself as an older employee on the job hunt and how to overcome obstacles. Attendees will include participants in the Senior Community Service Employment Program.

The date of this workshop is Monday, Sept. 19  from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Attendees should call the Aberdeen Employment Security Commission at 910-944-7697 to reserve a spot because seating is limited.
