Help raise $2,000 in August by participating in these opportunities to enjoy yourself and support MCLC students at the same time!

GOLF RAFFLE. Buy a chance for foursomes at three different courses – Little River, The National and Seven Lakes Country Club – for $10 – the cost of a student workbook. Improve your odds by getting 3 for $25. Tickets can be purchased at the MCLC office or at one of the wine tastings (see below). The winner will be drawn on August 19, at Sandhills Winery, at 7:30 p.m.

WINE TASTING BENEFIT. Enjoy a wide variety of wines at the Wine Cellar and Tasting Room in Southern Pines (Tuesday, August 9, 6-8 p.m.) or Sandhills Winery in Seven Lakes (Wednesday, August 17, 6-8). Door prizes at each are a Starbucks Gift Basket and the week’s bestseller at the Country Bookshop. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door or at the MCLC office.

SILENT AUCTION GETAWAY. Place a bid on three nights at the Inn of Brevard, from which you can explore over 260 waterfalls, enjoy fall colors and hike or bike the many trails in the Blue Ridge Mountains. To place a bid, come by the office or attend the wine benefits. Final bid will be determined at the Benefit Wine Tasting at Sandhills Winery in Seven Lakes.
