Free Dementia Resource Group meets in Pinehurst
The Dementia Resource Group is open to the public so invite a friend if you’d like. Kim Jacobs, LPN / Bridge to Rediscovery Memory Care Director and Elizabeth Ragsdale hold this group to provide support and education to one another as we discover the resources available.
The next meeting is set for Tuesday, Aug. 2 at 6:30 p.m. at Fox Hollow Senior Living located at 190 Fox Hollow Road in Pinehurst. The Dementia Resource Group will be in the Activity Room upstairs with Ian Inquimboy with Genesis Rehabilitation as the guest speaker.
Ian Inquimboy is a physical therapist and program manager with Genesis Rehabilitation Services at Fox Hollow is a 1994 graduate of Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in Emilio Aguinaldo College in Manila, Philippines. Ian’s experience includes clinical management with out-patient physical therapy services consisting of mixed cases of orthopedic and neurologic conditions in Long Island, N.Y. Since joining Genesis Rehab in 2007, Ian has devoted himself significant personally and professionally through working with the geriatric and dementia population. Ian is a Credentialed Clinical Instructor (CCI) from APTA and has been involved with the Mentoring Program with Genesis Rehab. Services. Ian has contributed with the staff development and public education through clinical programming of Dementia at Fox Hollow Senior Living in Pinehurst, which he is currently serving as a Program Manager. In 2010, Ian was awarded Master Clinician in Dementia by Genesis Rehab. Services. He is currently working to be CEEAA (Certified Exercise Expert for Aging Adults).
